created the heavens

and the earth.

(Genesis 1:1 NIV)

In the beginning (before all time) was the Word (Christ).

(John 1:1 Amp)

The Word, which gives life! He existed from the beginning. We have heard him, we have seen him with our eyes, we have contemplated him, we have touched him with our hands! The life appeared, and we have seen it. We are testifying to it and announcing it to you — eternal life! He was with the Father, and he appeared to us.

(1 John 1:1-2 Amp)

we should love one another.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.

(Isaiah 40:28 NIV)

Can you tie up the cords of the beautiful Pleiades or loosen the belt of Orion? Can you lead out the constellations of the zodiac in their season or guide the Great Bear and its cubs? Do you know the laws of the sky? Can you determine how they affect the earth?
