In the beginning God

created the heavens

and the earth.

(Genesis 1:1)

In the beginning was the Word.

(John 1:1)

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched — this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

(1 John 1:1-2)

This is the message you heard from the beginning:

we should love one another.

(1 John 3:11)

(Psalms 8:3-4)

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.

(Isaiah 40:28)

Can you tie up the cords of the beautiful Pleiades or loosen the belt of Orion? Can you lead out the constellations of the zodiac in their season or guide the Great Bear and its cubs? Do you know the laws of the sky? Can you determine how they affect the earth?

(Job 38:31-33)
