In this last part of the series on chaos theory, there will be an abrupt change in direction. The chaos that ensued after the fall of Adam and Eve involved the whole universe and all of the time from Genesis 3 to Revelation 21. That would seem to fit my hypotheses from Part 1. But the problem is that applying actual chaos theory to the mess that is human history is more than I can do without stretching ideas to their breaking point. I tried it, ideas broke and what I wrote got very boring. So, that’s enough of that! Let’s just talk about the Bible. Better yet, let’s just look into the Bible!
1 Corinthians 2:6-13
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” — but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except by the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food
until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken;
for dust you are and to dust you will return.
(Genesis 3:19 NIV)

Psalm 103:13-18
As a father has compassion upon his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like the flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children — with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
May my cry approach your presence, Yahweh; by your word give me understanding. May my prayer come into your presence, rescue me as you have promised. May my lips proclaim your praise, for you teach me your will. May my tongue recite your promise, for all your commandments are upright. May your hand be there to help me, since I have chosen your precepts. I long for your salvation, Yahweh, your Law is my delight. May I live only to praise you, may your judgments be my help. I am wandering like a lost sheep, come and look for your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments. (Psalm 119:169-176 NJB)

He reached down from heaven and rescued me;
he drew me out of deep waters.
He delivered me from my powerful enemies,
from those who hated me and were too strong for me.
They attacked me at a moment when I was weakest,
but the Lord upheld me.
He led me to a place of safety;
he rescued me because he delights in me.
(Psalm 18:16-19 NLT)
For You deliver an afflicted and humble people
but will bring down those with haughty looks.
For You cause my lamp to be lighted and to shine;
the Lord my God illumines my darkness.
(Psalm 18:27-28 Amp)

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who
bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy.
When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.
(Isaiah 52:7-8 NIV)
We are well aware that the whole creation, until this time,
has been groaning in labor pains. And not only that:
we too, who have the first fruits of the Spirit,
even we are groaning inside ourselves,
waiting with eagerness for our bodies to be set free.
(Romans 8:22-23 NJB)

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:1-2 NIV)
